What If...

Healing your relationship with your adult child was possible—and you had someone to guide you every step of the way?

Hi, I’m Tina Gosney, and I’m here to help you become the hero of your own story. Right now, you might be feeling lost, overwhelmed, or even hopeless about the state of your relationship with your adult child. The good news is, it doesn’t have to stay that way.

I know this because I’ve been where you are.

My Journey to Understanding

Back in 2010, I was grappling with the same questions that may keep you awake at night.

The confusion, grief, and frustration were almost unbearable. I wanted answers—needed them, really—but everything I tried seemed to push us further apart. I felt like I was walking on eggshells, terrified of doing more damage but desperate to make things right.

Then I discovered coaching, and everything changed.

From Conflict to Connection

Through coaching, I found the tools I needed to create freedom and inner peace in my life. I learned how to rebuild relationships—not by waiting for others to change, but by transforming the way I showed up. And as I did, I saw my family dynamics begin to shift.

Was it easy? No. Was it worth it? Absolutely.

This journey hasn’t been without its challenges. As a member of an LGBTQ+ family and a follower of Jesus Christ, I’ve faced my own unique set of struggles reconciling faith, love, and family dynamics. But these experiences have only deepened my understanding and commitment to this work.

Today, I’m proud to say I’ve spent over 30 years as a wife, raised four incredible adult children, and have the joy of being a mother-in-law and grandmother. Along the way, I’ve made plenty of mistakes, but I’ve learned that relationships aren’t about being perfect—they’re about showing up, doing the work, and choosing love over and over again.

Your Story Isn’t Over

The pain you’re feeling right now is real, and it can feel overwhelming.

But here’s what I want you to know:

You don’t have to stay stuck in guilt, sadness, or fear.

You don’t have to wait for your adult child to change before you can begin healing.

You have more power than you think to create the relationship you long for.

Why I Do This Work

I became a Certified Family Conflict Coach because I believe in the resilience of families and the transformative power of connection. Whether your adult child has pulled away, misunderstandings have driven a wedge between you, or you’re navigating challenges you never expected, I’m here to remind you that change is possible.

It’s not about fixing the past—it’s about creating a future where both you and your adult child can thrive.
